For the sake of this guide, graphics include logos, infographics, illustrations, and graphic elements. Given the prominent use of graphics in and outside of our campus community, we should strive for consistency in color, typography, and style. Whenever possible, black and gold should be prominently featured in designs and applied to our graphics style. The use of those colors will ensure that the item has the look and feel of UMBC. We should avoid creating graphics that include elements outside of the UMBC community.
